God is Turning it Around

Rev. Lauder’s Third Sunday Sermon

Luke 13:10-13

We all intersect in the common belief that “God Changes Things”.
As believers we know that Jesus was born, he died and was resurrected. We serve a God that can and is able to change all things regardless of what it look like today. In his omnipotent self his has all power to do whatever his will is.
There is something about calling on the name Jesus….things happen. We serve a God who is able to change things in your life. Luke is the book of change. In order to have change we must repent from our wicked ways and not turn back. God gives us chance after chance. This women in our scripture today is giving another chance. Although she was in a crowd Jesus saw her and called her out to him.
There are times in our life that we are placed in situations that’s too big for us, But just right for him. God is the only one that we can lean and depend on. God is always working on your behalf.

How do you know when God is turning it around? When you refuse to give it up. “Redemptive Change” begins….speak it and say the devil is a lie. Greater is He that is in me..1 John 4:4
We have to refuse to leave God’s presence in the same condition that we came in. We must operate in the spirit of “Now”. God is turning it around right “Now”. Our faith tells us in Hebrews 11:1….Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We have to withstand the trials and give God that “anyhow” praise, no matter what it look like just as the women in this scripture who was with infirmity for 18 years. But all she needed was one word from God. This women was healed at the words spoken by Jesus, “woman thou art loosed from thine infirmity which was the affirmation, the confirmation was when he laid his hands on her it was already done and she was made straight and glorified God. All we need is for Jesus to speak one word into our life and it is done.
If God turn it around for you what will you do? Will you glorify God?
